- Born and raised in India
- Started out studying Computer Engineering at Pune Institute of Computer Technology
- Began my career analysing data, models and shaping applications of it, have spent six years working hands-on data science and analytics projects in various sectors
- Gradually became more interested in how technology is governed, not just how it performs
- Moved to Berlin for a Master’s in Data science for Public Policy at Hertie School of Governance
- This shift led me into AI regulation, ethics, and policy work across jurisdictions
- Wrote and presented a Thesis on A Sector-Specific Quantitative Analysis of Regulatory Gaps in the U.S. Federal Courts for AI Governance, later included in Data & Policy conference proceedings
- Worked as a student in a law firm based in berlin analysing data for EU regulation based tech product and also have worked on AI Trust Mark, regulatory monitoring trackers, and cross-border compliance strategies and EU specific laws during the internship.
- Contributed to organizing AI governance challenge in collaboration with Hertie school and LSE under the umbrella of CIVICA, a network of social science universities in Europe.
- Presented research at various conferences from LSE, CPDP.ai, Max Planck Institute, Georgetown University, etc.
- Active in volunteering and community building around AI policy literacy, gender equity, and responsible technology, being chapter chair for Women in AI governance, Berlin and community member of Women in AI and robotics, Germany
